WHAT IT IS:
SealSavers started out in the dirt bike world with neoprene sleeves to protect motorcycle fork seals from dirt and debris, and then they created Palm Savers to fight blisters while manhandling ATVs. Now, SealSavers moves into the UTV market with their CV Savers and Coil Savers. CV Savers are neoprene covers for your Zooter’s CV boots. They wrap around your CV boots and add another layer of protection.

WHAT YOU GET:
CV Savers come in packs of two, and the neoprene covers stretch over the CV boots and secure with Velcro patches on the ends. They also secure with two included black zip-ties to the axles and out-drives.

INSTALLATION:
It only takes a few minutes to stretch and wrap the CV Savers around each CV boot and then secure them with two zip-ties. Pull tight and cut the excess zip-tie for a clean install.

Since the Wildcat 1000 doesn’t have A-arm or CV guards, it’s a good idea to protect the CV boots with the CV Savers, especially for extreme driving conditions. Coil Savers protect the shock springs from roost for $34.95 a pair or $64.95 for four.

PERFORMANCE:
We initially installed our CV Savers on our Fox Edition RZR XP 1000, but there is a clearance problem with the lower front A-arm and zerk fitting, and we broke a zip-tie. This is also a problem with the new RZR 900 and S 900, since they share front ends with the XP1K. We installed them on our Wildcat 700 and had great results. The neoprene sleeves take abuse from roost, sticks and such and keep the rubber CV boots intact and the grease inside.

THE VERDICT:
Aside from clearance issues with the most popular sport UTVs, CV Savers are cheap insurance for your CV boots. They install easily and provide extra protection from ripped boots, or will help get you home as an emergency backup for a ripped, unprotected boot. They’re $26.95 a pair or four for $49.95.
