If you like the Polaris General then you’re going to also like this new UTV from Textron. This brand originally went by the name of Bad Boy, but they switched to the parent company’s name of Textron after they bought Arctic Cat. Since the original Stampede 900 got a top rating from our test crew, they’ll probably like this sportier version even more.
It is said to make over 100 horsepower versus 80 horsepower from the original 846cc parallel-twin engine. Suspension travel has gone up from 10 inches by using the new high-performance King shocks with reservoirs. The old bench seat has been replaced with bucket seats. It looks like it could get you down the trail in a hurry after helping you get the chores done. There’s no word yet from Textron on when this Stampede Sport will be available, but we’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
