2 UTV’s SIGN UP TO RACE AGAINST TRICK TRUCKS
In the Best In The Desert Series, the big unlimited class 1500 cars (or Class 1 in SCORE), are mixed in the starting order with BITD’s Trick Truck class which goes by Trophy Truck in Baja. What’s even crazier is that two fast UTV drivers have signed up as Unlimited, 1500 Class cars for the upcoming Silver State 300 race taking place April 30th in Alamo, Nevada.
You did read that correctly, both Bruce Binnquist and Mitch Guthrie Jr have singed up to race in Class 1500. Bruce will be piloting is ultra trick, Geiser built, BDI/ Can-Am Maverick X3 and Mitchie will be running his Red Bull Sponsored Polaris RZR Pro R. With these two fast guys starting so far up in the notoriously tight, twisty and dusty race, the chances of them breaking into the top 10 overall are very good. Another good thing, is that Best In The Desert typically has a great Livestream on the race day, so you might be able to catch some of the action there. Stay tuned to the BITD Facebook page for more info at https://www.facebook.com/BestintheDesert
Until then, you can check out the entry list and starting order for all of the regular UTV, car, truck, bike and quad classes below. Qualifying for the faster classes on page 1, will take place April 29. This will set the official starting order for the race and we will have an idea of how the day will start out.
Bruce Binnquist has been turning heads early in the 2022 season in the UTV class. Next he will show the guys in the unlimited classes how fast he is.
Back in March Justin Pendley, experienced possibly a worst nightmare for many. He lost everything he has worked so hard
to build in his life. His house and all contents were completely destroyed in a fire. When he isn’t working his business, or helping our team in the dirt, he even spends his free time rescuing people that get stuck in Nevada and Arizona. If you want to help Justin rebuild his home and belongings, anything at all helps. Please let’s show him what the off road community can do!
