2020 LUCAS OIL REGIONAL OFF-ROAD SERIES UTV SCHEDULES

LUCAS OIL ARIZONA AND CALIFORNIA UTV RACING

Lucas Oil Regional Off-Road Series (LORORS) has announced its 2020 UTV and Trophy Kart schedules for Arizona and California. The Arizona schedule has five rounds at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona. This is the same facility that hosts the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS) third, fourth and final rounds.

The California Regional series will have eight rounds over five weekends at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds and Glen Helen Raceway in Victorville and Devore, respectively. Glen Helen Raceway will also host three rounds of the LOORRS national series, so new UTV/TK racers can learn the WHPMP and GHR tracks before their LORORS season starts.

Before getting into RZR 170 racing, youths can progress up from Jr 1, Jr 2 and Modified karts.

LORORS Arizona and California has championship classes for Youth RZR 170 racers, Pro and Pro-Am Weller SR1 Rhinos, and Production 1000 and Turbo UTVs. Also, there are championship classes for Junior 1, Junior 2, and Modified Trophy Karts. So, off-road racers can progress from spec Kartek Trophy Karts to RZR 170s and then on to Production UTVs and beyond.

Mason Prater won both the 2019 Modified Kart Arizona and SoCal championships, so his next step is up into a RZR 170.

LORORS UTV racers can earn contingencies from GBC Motorsports, Lucas Oil, Parker Pumper, PCI Radios, Rugged Radios, and Ultra Wheel (170 only). Production 1000 Yamaha racers can earn $5,000 for a championship after competing in every SoCal or Arizona round and winning the most points. Trophy Kart racers can also earn contingencies from Kartek, Hoosier, and Ultra Wheels. Arizona Production 1000, RZR 570 and Jr2 racers can get contingency money from Super Sick.

TJ Siewers won both the LORORS Arizona and California RZR 170 titles for 2019, and he was second in LOORRS RZR 170 points.
