Recreation UTV buyers want machines that can do it all, conquer challenging terrain, deliver exciting acceleration and handling, pull their weight with impressive hauling and towing capacities, and provide comfort for full days at work or play. It’s a tall order, but manufacturers have come through with machines for 2020 that are sure to exceed the most demanding users’ expectations, as well as surprisingly affordable models for entry-level UTVers.

ARCTIC CAT/TRACKER

ARCTIC CAT HAVOC TRACKER SVX1000

Arctic Cat’s sport-crossover recreation utility UTV, the 100-horsepower inline twin cylinder Havoc, and the mechanically identical Tracker SVX1000 have double A-arm front and rear suspension with spring preload adjustable shocks for nearly 13 inches of travel. These machines come with power steering, bolstered bench seats for two, full doors, and 27-inch tires on 14-inch steel wheels. ARCTIC CAT STAMPEDE

The two-seat Stampede has an 80-horsepower inline twin and double-A-arm suspension with 9.5 inches of travel up front and 10.5 in the rear. This machine’s four-wheel-drive system features selectable 2WD/4WD, an automatic-locking front differential and a lockable rear differential.
