2021 CAN-AM DEFENDER HD8/HD5
The 2021 Can-Am Defender HD8/HD5 three seat, 62 inch wide UTVs don’t have power steering but deliver much of the capablity and comfort of the Defender platfotm at affordable prices. The HD 8 has a 50 horsepower, 799cc V-twin. The HD 5 is powered by a 38 horsepower 427cc single. Both machines feature fully automatic transmissions with electronic belt protection and hill-descent control. Both machines have the Visco-Lok QE automatic locking front differential. The HD 8 also has an unlockable rear differential. Both models have 12 inch steel wheels. The HD 8 has 27 inch tires while the HD 5 has 25 inch tires.The HD 5 has 1,500 pounds of towing capacity; the HD 8 has 2,500.
