2022 HONDA RECREATION UTVs

Honda’s Pioneer 1000, available in three- and five-seat versions, is the only recreation machine with a geared, beltless automatic transmission, and it also has manual shift mode. For 2022, Honda’s top recreation machine is available in new, specially equipped Trail and Forest editions. The Pioneer 1000 Deluxe and EPS models return for 2022, along with the Pioneer 700 and four-seat Pioneer 700-4.

 

 

PIONEER 1000 TRAIL

The new Pioneer 1000 Trail is purpose-built for UTVers who enjoy spirited trail riding, exploring and adventure trips. Available in three- and five-seat versions, the Trail delivers comfort and convenience with Fox Quick Switch shocks, a 4500-pound-capacity winch, aluminum-cut contrast wheels, an ROPS-mounted rear-view mirror for keeping track of other drivers, an in-bed accessory outlet, plus extra features that deliver outdoor fun.

For 2022 all Pioneer 1000s include increased power from their inline twin-cylinder engines; a smoother-shifting, geared, 6-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission; new grille styling; added storage and larger beverage holders; better door nets; new instrumentation; improved power steering; easier accessory integration and more. Towing capacity is increased to 2500 pounds, and a larger cooling fan keeps engine temperatures stable even in extreme conditions. The Pioneer 1000 Trail starts at $20,099, and the five-seat Pioneer 1000-5 Trail is $21,499. Five-seat models feature convertible seating to match changing cargo space and seating needs. Both come in Matte Silver with red graphics and accents.

 

 

PIONEER 1000 FOREST

The new Pioneer 1000 Forest is specially equipped for hunters and outdoors enthusiasts. Both the three- and five-seat versions of the Pioneer 1000 Forest are equipped with a winch, black aluminum wheels, dual bed lights to facilitate finding gear in low-light conditions, and an in-bed accessory outlet to power electrical devices. Self-leveling rear suspension adjusts to varying cargo loads, like when big game adds cargo weight on the drive back to the cabin. The Pioneer 1000 Forest starts at $20,099 and the five-seat Pioneer 1000-5 Forest is $21,499. Both come in Honda Phantom Camo.

 

 

 

PIONEER 1000 DELUXE

The Pioneer 1000 Deluxe is offered in three- and five-seat configurations. Both do-it-all machines are equipped with KYB shocks that have dual-rate front springs and triple-rate rear springs, and the five-person version features self-leveling rear suspension. The rear shocks on the three-person version have adjustable preload. The Pioneer 1000 Deluxe starts at $18,099 and is available in red, olive or Gray Resin. The five-seat Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe is $21,499 and comes in red, olive or Reactor Blue.

 

 

PIONEER 1000 EPS

The Pioneer 1000 EPS starts at $16,699 and comes with steel wheels and unpainted bodywork in red or olive. The five-seat Pioneer 1000-5 EPS is similarly equipped and is priced at $18,099

 

 

 

 

PIONEER 700 & 700-4

The affordable Pioneer 700 is powered by a 675cc, single-cylinder engine with a geared, 3-speed automatic transmission. Two- and four-seat 700-4 models are available in Deluxe and base trim levels.

Deluxe models feature painted or camo bodywork, power steering, an automatic transmission with manual shift mode using sports-car-like paddle shifters and cast-aluminum wheels. The Pioneer 700 starts at $11,099. The Pioneer 700 Deluxe is $12,699. The 700-4 sells for $12,499. The 700-4 Deluxe is priced at $14,099.
