2022 KAWASAKI UTVs
2022 KAWASAKI UTVs
The 2022 Kawasaki UTVs are here! KRX 1000 sport machines get striking new colors. There’s a new, more luxurious Mule Pro-FXT Ranch Edition Platinum, a new Mule Pro-MX SE with premium features and styling, and more.
The base Kawasaki KRX 1000 comes in cool new Sunbeam Red/Metallic Onyx Black and Lime Green/Metallic Onyx Black color schemes. This 68.1-inch-wide sport side-by-side is powered by a durable, 999cc, parallel-twin engine paired with a CVT transmission and centrifugal clutch. The Teryx KRX 1000 has the power to tackle a whooped-out trail and the torque to conquer technical rock-crawling sections. It features on-the-fly, electronically selectable 4WD and front differential lock, as well as two power modes (Full and Low) that allow the driver to set power delivery to suit preference and conditions. A high-rigidity frame with integrated Roll Over Protection Structure (ROPS) positions the wheels as far apart as possible to provide a sure-footed stance, superb cornering and straight-line stability. Obstacles on the trail are soaked up by Fox 2.5 Podium shock units with adjustable compression damping and spring preload, which, combined with long-suspension arms, gives the Teryx KRX 1000 the longest suspension travel in its class. Large 31-inch Maxxis Carnivore tires ride over small obstacles with ease, while 15-inch aluminum beadlock wheels hold the tires in place in off-road riding situations. The base model starts at $20,499.
KRX 1000 SPECIAL EDITION
The KRX 1000 Special Edition sport side-by-side builds on the base model’s features with a high-grade, award-winning Hifonics audio system. Complete with 6.5-inch door speakers and a 12-inch subwoofer, it offers incredible sound that can be heard—and felt. The compact stereo unit is built into the center console, giving the dash a well-integrated appearance with a new LED screen. The Special Edition comes in a new Turquoise/Metallic Onyx Black color scheme and starts at $22,999.
KRX 1000 TRAIL EDITION
Built with the same high-performance features found on the KRX 1000, the KRX 1000 Trail Edition sport side-by-side adds front and rear sport bumpers, as well as nerf bars on the sides. A KQR Sport roof comes as standard equipment on the Teryx KRX 1000 Trail Edition and helps to shelter passengers from harsh weather and sun. It also features pre-configured mounts that allow for the addition of up to six accessory LED dome lights. A Warn VRX 45 powersports winch is standard equipment and has 50 feet of durable, aircraft-grade, 1⁄4-inch steel rope backed by a 4500-pound capacity. The KRX 1000 Trail Edition comes in Fragment Camo Gray and starts at $23,499.
KRX 1000 ES
The 2021 KRX 1000 eS is still available. It comes with Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension, which offers Soft, Normal and Firm modes selectable from the dashboard. A 7-inch display shows suspension settings and instrumentation and offers Bluetooth connectivity. Kawasaki’s electronic suspension automatically adjusts to enhance stability and ride smoothness. A roof, steel front bumper and Metallic Onyx Black painted bodywork are also part of the eS package. It starts at $24,399.

The Teryx line of sporty recreation machines returns with the two-passenger Teryx and the four-passenger Teryx4 in base and long-travel S LE models. The S LE models get stylish new cast-aluminum wheels for 2022. These machines are powered by a 783cc, single-overhead-cam, eight-valve V-twin. All models have a fully automatic belt-type transmission with a centrifugal clutch that provides precise power delivery, protects the belt and offers engine braking. Teryx models have large storage bins behind the seats and a tilting cargo bed. Teryx 4s have a fixed cargo bed.
The Teryx and Teryx4 are 60 inches wide, with 8 inches of front suspension travel and 8.3 inches in the rear. Teryx4 prices start at $16,199 for the base model and go to $18,199 for the Teryx4 S LE in Fragment Camo Gray.
Mule Pro-FX recreation utility machines seat three and have a bed big enough to fit a full-size pallet. All are powered by the same smooth, 812cc, three-cylinder engine used in Mule Pro-FXT models. Three trim levels are available for 2022, with prices starting at $12,399.
The three-seat Mule Pro-FXR joins the 812cc, three-cylinder engine with a lighter, shorter, full-size Mule Pro platform for sportier performance and handling. The Pro-FXR retains the full-size Mule Pro 1000-pound bed capacity and 2000-pound towing capacity. It comes with painted bodywork, contoured bench seats, aluminum wheels, and a roof for $15,199.
MULE PRO-DX EPS & MULE PRO-DXT EPS
