ARCTIC CAT PROWLER PRO EPS/XT/LTD

The Arctic Cat Prowler Pro EPS/XT/LTD seats three. For 2022, upgraded suspension boosts ground clearance to 13 inches. A new performance-tuned CVTech clutch offers increased performance, smoother low-speed engagement, and longer life. Arctic Cat also improved the engine cooling system to reduce fan run time and enhance engine performance. All models are equipped with an aggressive new bumper with integrated headlight protection and new, aluminum, seven-spoke wheels. These 63-inch-wide recreation utility machines are known for comfort, quiet operation and refinement. All models are powered by a smooth, quiet, three-cylinder, 812cc, double-overhead-cam, 12-valve engine with 50 horsepower. Selectable 2WD/4WD with a lockable rear differential provides go-anywhere traction. Independent front and rear suspension offers 10 inches of front travel and 9.5 in the rear.

The 2022 Prowler Pro is available in EPS, XT and LTD models. The base model includes EPS, doors and 26-inch aluminum wheels. The XT adds a roof, 4500-pound Warn winch, heavy-duty front bumper, and 27-inch cast-aluminum wheels. The LTD includes all XT features, plus an overhead console, These machines can tow a ton and carry 1000 pounds in the cargo bed.

ARCTIC CAT PROWLER 500

The Arctic Cat Prowler 500 seats two. Its 56.4-inch width lets it maneuver in tight spaces and fit in most full-size pickups. The Prowler’s automatic transmission makes it easy to drive, and the single-cylinder, 443cc, four-valve engine and selectable 2WD/4WD give it impressive capability in challenging terrain. Independent double-A-arm front and rear suspension rides comfortably even on rough trails. The Prowler 500’s tilting bed can hold 500 pounds in the bed, and the machine will tow 1500 pounds.

Arctic Cat offers four accessory kits for the Prowler 500. The Adventure kit includes a roof, windshield, rear-view mirror and rear panel. The Enforcer Kit includes a winch, winch mount, front bumper and rear bumper. The Protection Plus Kit includes a roof, door kit, windshield, rear panel and rear-view mirror. The Winter kit comes with a winch, winch mount, push frame and mount kit, and 66-inch steel blade.

CAN-AM COMMANDER DPS/XT/XT-P

The Can-Am Commander DPS/XT/XT-P are 62- (DPS & XT) or 64-inch-wide (XT-P) sport utility UTVs powered by a 52-horsepower, 650cc single (DPS & XT) or a 100-horsepower 976cc V-twin with Sport and Eco power delivery modes. Variable-rate power steering, double-A-arm front and rear suspension with front and rear sway bars, and up to 15 inches of travel give the Commanders agile handling, and the ability to handle rough trails at speed. These machines have fully automatic transmissions with engine braking, a cabin that’s easy to enter and exit, full doors, unlockable rear differentials, and a tilting bed that holds 600 pounds of cargo, and has storage compartments in its sides. The DPS and XT models are 62 inches wide and have 12.5 inches of front travel and 13 inches in the rear. The DPS comes with 27-inch tires, 14-inch steel wheels and a 4.5-inch instrument display.

The XT package also includes 28-inch tires on 14-inch cast-aluminum wheels, XT front bumper, 4500-pound (2014 kilograms) winch, full roof, 7.6-inch digital display with keypad and LED headlights and painted bodywork with Triple Black, Oxford Blue and Mossy Oak Break-Up Country Camo color options.

The Commander XT-P is 64 inches wide and has 15 inches of travel front and rear. ARGO MAGNUM XF500/XF 500 LE

New for 2022, the Argo Magnum XF500/XF 500 LE are two-seat, 56.7-inch-wide recreation/utility UTVs that fit in the bed of a full size pickup. They’re powered by a 443cc, 4 valve, single cylinder, fuel injected, liquid cooled engine. A dual range automatic transmission makes them easy to drive and selectable 2WD/4WD with locking front and rear differentials gives these machines impressive off road capability with turf mode.

Both Magnum models have double-A-arm front and rear suspension with spring preload adjustable shocks and 7.5 inches of travel. These machines feature a tilting bed can that can hold 500 pounds of cargo There’s a storage compartment in the tailgate and the bed comes with a bed mat. There’s more storage in the glove box and  under the hood and seats.

The Magnum XF starts at $9,999 and comes with steel wheels and green painted bodywork. The Magnum XF LE starts at $11,399 and adds power steering, a 3000-pound winch, aluminum wheels and painted Flame Orange or Slate Grey bodywork.

New for 2022, the three-seat, 62-inch-wide Can-Am Defender HD7/HD9 are powered by the 52-horsepower, 650cc, single-cylinder HD7 engine or the 65-horsepower, 976cc HD9 V-twin. These Defender models don’t have power steering but you get most of the capability and comfort of the Defender platform at entry-level prices. Both machines come with fully automatic transmissions with electronic belt protection and hill-descent control. Selectable 2WD/4WD with Can-Am’s Visco-Lok QE automatic-locking front differential provides traction in any conditions. The rear differential offers Turf mode. Both models have 12-inch steel wheels with 27-inch tires.

CFMOTO UFORCE 600

The 2022 CFMoto UForce 600 is a two-seat machine with a 40-horsepower, 580cc single-cylinder engine. The UForce 600’s compact 80.7-inch wheelbase and 63.5-inch width make it easy to maneuver on tight trails and crowded work sites. The 600 is CFMoto’s lowest-priced model, but its list of standard features includes power steering, painted bodywork, 12-inch cast-aluminum wheels, roof, winch, bench seat with under seat storage LED headlights, back-up lights and horn.

HONDA PIONEER 700/DELUXE

The two-seat 2022 Kawasaki Teryx S LE is a long-travel model of the original Teryx. The Polaris Ranger 1000/EPS/Premium are three-seat recreation utility machines powered by a 999cc, single-overhead-cam, two-valve-per-cylinder inline twin with 61 horsepower and 55 pound-feet of torque. The engine pulls well at low revs, which makes it smooth at the engine speeds recreation utility UTV drivers use more often. The transmission’s clutching provides precise throttle response and very smooth engagement right off idle, just what you want on challenging trails and in precise maneuvers when doing chores. If you need a recreation utility machine with more top-end thrust, there’s the 82-horsepower Ranger XP 1000. A stronger front drive and more durable suspension components were added in 2021.

The base Ranger 1000 has steel wheels, unpainted bodywork and no power steering. The Ranger 1000 EPS is $15,399 and has power steering, steel wheels and unpainted bodywork. The Ranger 1000 EPS Premium is $16,399 and comes with power steering, painted bodywork, a steel front bumper, an adjustable driver’s seat and cast-aluminum wheels.

YAMAHA VIKING EPS/EPS RANCH EDITION

The Yamaha Viking EPS/Ranch Edition are three-seat, 61.8-inch-wide utility machines powered by a 686cc, four-valve, single-overhead-cam, single-cylinder engine. The fully automatic continuously variable transmission features a centrifugal clutch with a sprag clutch for smooth power delivery, predictable engine braking and excellent drive belt life. These machines can carry 600 pounds in their cargo beds and tow 1500 pounds. The air filter only requires service once a year and the drive belt has a 10-year warranty. The EPS model includes power steering and aluminum wheels. The Ranch Edition adds Copper Metallic-painted bodywork, a rear-view mirror, over-fenders and under-seat storage. A roof is standard on all models.
