So far, both versions of the four seat Talon Honda just announced are X models. That means they are the narrower 64-inch machine, not the 68” long travel Talons. Unfortunately this frame does not have the R suspension pick up points in the rear so you can’t easily install R type long travel. Don’t worry the aftermarket will help you in this department.
Turbos are not standard. However, with the help of Jackson Racing, Honda dealers can sell you or install a near 200- horsepower turbo kit on any 2 or 4 seat Talon. That goes for 2019 or 2020 models. The kit will cost about $6,000 and take an average of 6 hours to install.
The Live Valve version which features the electronically controlled shock, have a feature called Launch Mode. This allows you to rev the motor to full RPMs before releasing the clutch for quick drag race style starts.
The entire car is 28 inches longer than a two seat X model at 152.6 inches. IT is also rather tall at 78.5 inches and thats with the stock 28 inch tires. This is important if you are limited on space in your garage or trailer. On the good side, there is plenty of leg room for rear passengers. Cupholders and 12v power outlets are also provided. The overall curb weight is 1735 pounds.
