— A clean, understated customization —
Can-Am’s Defender models are becoming popular for people wanting to travel off-road, but not necessarily at turbo speeds. They’re designed to be very practical for getting chores done around the ranch, but yet offer some fun when then work is done. The Defender HD10 is able to get you done the trail at a respectable clip, while hauling coolers, tents and things for a weekend camping trip.
The folks at S3 Power Sports took this Defender HD10 here and gave it a few things to improve its appearance and also boost its performance a bit. They didn’t want to over do it, but just add enough to enhance its ruggedly handsome good looks while giving it a more serious attitude.
They started with a 2018 Graphite model and added a bit of Black Sheep Powder Coating. A windshield and roof made it a tad more civilized, but the +2 inch Forward A-arms gave it more ground clearance. The S3 heavy duty springs improved its off-roading manners as well. The 32 inch BF Goodrich tires mounted on gold 15 inch Method wheels rounded out its clean custom look.
For states where UTVs are street legal, this Can-Am Defender would look mighty fine cruising down main street. It’s the kind of vehicle that valet attendants would leave parked near the front door of any fancy restaurant. It would gave the place a more upscale look indeed.
