CHAMPIONSHIP OFF-ROAD TOUR UTV SERIES AT DIRT CITY 7/31-8/1/2021

WHERE TO RIDE & RACE YOUR UTV: CHAMP OFF-ROAD 2021 IN LENA WISCONSIN

The Amsoil Championship Off-Road Tour heads to Dirt City Motorplex July 31st and August 1st for the seventh and eighth rounds of 2021 CORT Short-Course series. Dirt City in Lena, Wisconsin, is hosting two rounds in its 3rd Annual Dirt City Duel. The Champ series Pro Truck, Buggy, and UTV classes have put on some great racing in 2021, and the 1-mile Dirt City short-course track has plenty of jumps, whoops and tight corners to provide for more great racing. Watch the racing live streamed at www.champoffroad.com, but nothing beats being there live to tour the pits, camp out at or near the track, and see great racing.

CJ Greaves has won three Pro Stock rounds and leads Brock Heger, 295-288, in series points. He also leads the Pro4 class with 295 points.

Tickets are $30 for Adult One-Day, $20 for Military One-Day, $50 for Adult Two-Day, and $40 for Military Two-Day. Gates open at 8:00AM, and children under 12 and seniors over 75 are free. Once racers have set up their camps, there will be limited spectator camping on a first-come basis.

New to the series, the 570 UTV class provides a stepping stone between 170 and Sportsman.

Andrew Carlson (Pol) has won three Pro Mod UTV rounds in 2021, and father-son team Rodney and Owen VanEperen (Yam) have won two rounds. Lucas Oil Midwest Pro Turbo champion Kyle Chaney (C-A) won a Pro Mod round as well. Pro Stock UTVs have raged with defending Pro Mod and Pro Stock champion CJ Greaves and Brock Heger trading wins at the first six CORT rounds in their Yamaha YXZ1000s.

Brock Heger and CJ Greaves traded Pro Stock UTV wins in the first three CORT weekends of 2021.

Champ has Short-Course SxS 170, 570, Sportsman and Pro-Am UTV classes in addition to Pro Mod and Pro Stock UTV classes, so it’s a true development series for future stars. Rules and requirements can be found at www.champoffroad.com, and CORT even has approved tires for parity in racing. UTVs can run 28×10.5R14, 30×10.5R14 and 30×10.5R15 BFG T/A KM3s; Cooper Evolution Winter; General Grabber A/TX, AT2 and X3; or Kenda Mastondon HT, Klever X/T and Kongur in 26-30-inch sizes. Maxxis racers can run Razr and Razr Plus on Mod Kart and 170 UTVs, and Pro UTV classes can run 26-29-inch Ceros. UTVs can also run MRT’s Rally Snake, Pro Armor Crawler XR, Hoosier Knobbies, and GBC Kanati Mongrels. CORT is promoted by ISOC Racing.

Rodney and Owen VanEperen have traded Pro Mod wins; Owen is fourth in Pro Stock points and second in Pro Mod.
