EVOLUTION POWERSPORTS’ NEW CAN-AM X3 PRODUCTS

EVP CAN-AM X3 14.3-GALLON FUEL CELL

Evolution Powersports introduces three new performance products for the Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo R/RR – Ceramic Wheel Bearings, a 14.3-Gallon Fuel Tank, and an X3 Race Exhaust that we saw at Nitro Rally-X in Los Angeles. Evo’s 14.3-gallon (54 Liter) Fuel Cell is recommended for EVP customers with X3 tunes for E85, but desert racers and adventurers will enjoy an extra 4.3-gallon capacity and 43-percent more range.

Constructed of cross-linked polyethylene, the fuel cell kit includes the OEM fuel-pump seal and breather cap and is a bolt-in replacement for the OEM 10-gallon cell. It uses the OEM fuel pump or EVP’s fuel pump upgrade for more power. It’s not compatible with Can-Am’s accessory Windshield and Washer/wiper Kit. Get more fuel range for $440; see www.evopowersports.com.

EVP’s X3 Ceramic Wheel Bearing Kit includes four sets of high-end ceramic wheel bearings that EVP claims a 60-percent weight reduction and 40-percent friction reduction over the OEM wheel bearings. They offer less rolling resistance for lower operating temperatures and more top speed, plus EVP claims they last three-five times longer than OEM bearings. They’re $1,199 a set.

The Nitro Rally-X Spec X3s had a different racing exhaust than the EVP 3-inch Bazooka Race Pipe on EVP’s website. The NRX X3 has different routing, mount, and outlet than the Bazooka. EVP’s Bazooka pipe is constructed of 304 Stainless Steel and is TIG welded with an extra O2 Bung for AFR for $839. It’s designed for EVP’s 250-500-Hp Big Turbo X3s and retails for $839.
