HESS RZR 200 & KRX1000 QUICK-STEER KITS

REDUCE STEERING EFFORT ON YOUR RZR 200 OR KRX1000

As technologically superior the Polaris RZR 200 is to the RZR 170, there is one thing that hasn’t improved; it still takes tools to adjust steering-wheel tilt for personal tastes. Hess decided to develop a Quick-Steer V2 system for the RZR 200 and convert the kit to a Quick-Adjust system as well. Using the same locking hydraulic unit as bigger RZRs, Hess fabricated a mount that combines the Steering-Quickener and Quick-Adjust tilt system into one unit, and it’s only $700 (Hess steering wheel available separately for $70-$90), the same as the new 1.5:1 Quickener for the Kawasaki KRX1000.

HESS RZR200 STEERING QUICKENER
Kids aren’t keen on taking their hands off of the steering wheel, so the Hess Quickener eliminates the need with tighter turning with less steering wheel rotation.

Hess Motorsports has a V2 Steering Quickener for all popular sport UTVs in 2.0:1 or 1.5:1 ratios. Kids especially don’t have enough confidence to do hand-over-hand maneuvers in tight turns, and Hess V2 Quickeners get the steering rack to full lock without having to spin the steering wheel two times. RZR 200 steering wheels are larger than 12-inch to give kids leverage, and the new RZR 200 Quickener will work with stock or Hess steering wheels.

Each V2 Quickener has a CNC’d billet aluminum housing and revised internal gearing for reduced steering effort. New KRX1000 and RZR 200 V2 Quickeners have the medium-level 1.5:1 ratio, and owners of larger RZRs usually opt for the more aggressive 2.0:1 ratio. Photos show preproduction models, and the final products will have black powder-coated or anodized mounts and bushings. Some grinding and cutting is required to mount the RZR 200 V2 Quickener with quick-adjust tilt.

Now adults can fit inside the RZR 200 for race prep or loading up the hauler.
