HISUN ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS

Dear Sarge,

I have a Hisun 700 with several electrical failures. Currently the fuel pump is intermittent so starting is problematical and if it does start and run there is no 4×4 and differential lock. My Dealer says it is either the ECU or the Central Relay Junction Box. Sarge, which should I have replaced first?

Private Webpage,

Since the ECU costs over 4 times as much as an aftermarket Central Relay Junction Box, I would go on eBay and purchase one. Judging by the large number sold, it is my guess there are Hisun electric problems with the OEM unit! Given the nature of your various electrical problems it seems to me the relay box is the most likely culprit and not the ECU. This is an easy parts swap even for a raw recruit, 2 mounting bolts and three multi-plugs. A 5 miles hike in full riding gear should get you warmed up for that easy repair! Dismissed!
