The 64-inch wide 2023 Can-Am Maverick X3 DS Turbo RR/X3 X ds Turbo RR got 200 horsepower in 2022 and the X3 DS Turbo RR is the lowest priced 200-horsepower X3. An improved pDrive roller clutch for quicker throttle response and acceleration and stronger frame and suspension parts were also new for 2022. The DS models are lighter than the other X3 Turbo RR models, making them the quickest accelerating X3s. The DS Turbo is the least pricey X3 with 135-Hp and Smart-Lok front diff. X DS Turbo RR models upgrade from Fox QS3 Podium shocks to Fox 2.5/3.0 Podium RC2 shocks with dual-speed compression and rebound adjusters, Internal ByPass (IBP) and dual-rate springs with adjustable cross-overs. All Turbo RRs also sport an 850-watt magneto.

DS models are better for tighter conditions than the 72-inch wide X3s at the expense of some ability to gobble high-speed whoops. With the longest wheelbase in its class, the X3 is still very stable at high speeds. Both DS models have 20 inches of travel front and rear and 30-inch Maxxis Carnivore tires. The X DS also comes with X-package graphics, 14-inch beadlock wheels and a 7.6 inch lighted display.
