ITP COYOTE TIRE AND SD SERIES BEADLOCK WHEEL

ITP COYOTE TIRE AND SD BEADLOCK WHEEL, WHAT IT IS:

The ITP Coyote tire and SD Beadlock wheel are designed for high-horsepower, extreme-performance UTVs, and the 32x10R15 Coyote is standard equipment on the Polaris RZR XP Turbo S. The SD Series beadlock wheel is a lightweight, ultra-strong wheel that has the industry’s first two-year limited warranty against bending or breaking.

ITP COYOTE AND SD BEADLOCK
The combination of the 33x10R15 ITP Coyote tires and SD Series beadlock wheels delivers great performance at an affordable price. This combo gives the Wildcat XX 15.5 inches of ground clearance.

FEATURES:

The Coyote is an eight-ply radial tire with DOT approval for street use. It has block tread that is more open than a BFG KR2 A/T tire’s and side lugs that extend down the sidewall for more grip in deep ruts. It comes in 27x9R14, 27x11R14, 32x10R15 and 33x10R15 sizes.

The SD Series beadlock uses ITP’s Rock Armor-reinforced bead lip and comes in 12×7, 14×7 and 15×7 sizes for all popular UTVs and ATVs. The “SD” stands for “Severe Duty,” and the light wheels are designed with the UTV racer in mind. They’re available in Matte Black with either polished or matching beadlock rings, and they come with center caps and lug nuts.

CONSTRUCTION:

The fairly hard rubber compound provides durability, and center- and side-lug siping provides added traction. The SD aluminum beadlock wheel is built with ITP’s exclusive Advancecast process to exact QS9000 quality standards. ITP also has SD Series Dual beadlock wheels for $252.95 (14×7).

WHO’S IT FOR?

Any sport UTV owner who wants great performance at a good price will appreciate this all-terrain tire and wheel combination.

PERFORMANCE:

We’ve spent a lot of time with the 32x10R15 Coyote on the 2019 XP Turbo S, and we also got to try the 33x10R15 on the Wildcat XX at Sand Hollow Sate Park. It has great hook up and delivers super traction on rocks, hard dirt and loose desert sand. Side bite is ample, but we noticed an “edgy” feel in deep-rutted turns. The tire wants to follow the ruts, especially at higher speeds. At Sand Hollow, we found slick-rock traction to be excellent, and the SD Series beadlocks let us air down for a better footprint and grip in the red sand.

THE VERDICT:

While they are much better than the Bighorns that come on many sport UTVs, we prefer a few other 8-ply aftermarket tires on the RZR Turbo S. The relative lack of high-speed stability makes the Coyote a better low-speed tire than a high-speed one for today’s fastest turbos. We really liked the 33x10R15 Coyote’s all-around performance on the Wildcat XX, and the 3-inch-taller tires than the OEM XX 30x10R15 Behemoths provide more clearance for rock crawling and great overall traction and ride quality. This tire did take Justin Lambert to the muddy 2019 Baja 1000 victory.
