WHAT IT IS: KLIM INVERSION JACKET
The Klim Inversion jacket is a lined, non-insulated coat that features three-layer Gore Windstopper weather protection. It is water-resistant and highly breathable but not waterproof. Lightweight and four-way stretch materials make the Inversion jacket ideal for activewear, like driving UTVs. The jacket is available in black, gray, black/gray, two-tone gray, gray with red zippers, red/gray, gray/blue and two-tone blue colors that go well with current UTVs. It’s $160 to $200 depending on size, and sizes from M to 3XL are available.
Outside temperatures and the speeds you reach can vary greatly on any day of riding, so layering is the key to comfort when UTVing, and the Klim Inversion jacket is perfect for it. It works well by itself or as an outer or inner layer. Windchill is always a factor in open UTVs in cooler weather, and the Gore Windstopper fabric stops wind very effectively without being bulky or restrictive. Velcro-adjustable cuffs, a cord-adjustable bottom hem and zippered underarm vents seal wind out or add ventilation. There’s also an interior headphone routing port. Two hand pockets, two chest pockets, and an arm pocket provide plenty of places for your phone, keys, wallet and other items, and a glove-friendly zipper makes access easy. The Klim Inversion jacket is only a little thicker than a light windbreaker shell, so it can be stored in a good-size UTV glove box or center-console storage compartment.
Layering is the key to comfort when UTVing, and the Klim Inversion jacket provides a lot of wind protection without being bulky or restrictive. It’s also easy to store on a UTV.
