MOOSE UTILITY DIVISION COMPLETE AXLE ASSEMBLIES

Moose Utility Division (M.U.D.) complete axle assemblies match or exceed the strength of stock axles and feature direct replacement fit. They come fully assembled including the outboard CV joint. The heavy-duty puncture-resistant boot and high strength axle bar assure trouble free service, even in harsh conditions. Some models come with a universal joint and yoke assembly or a fully assembled inboard CV joint. M.U.D. axles are available for most popular UTVs and ATVs. Prices start at $177. MORE IMPORTANT AXLE FACTS

UTVs stress axles heavily, especially in aggressive driving on severe terrain like rocks and high speed whoops, but most offer impressive service life as long as the joints and bearings are not contaminated. After each ride, examine the CV joint boots for tears or loose clamps. Any dirt, water or sand can quickly damage the axle, but if you spot contamination early, clean the axle well and replace damaged boots, considerable life can be salvaged. If you install tires that are larger than stock or add a lift kit to your machine, you will increase axle loads and wear. Heavy duty axles are a wise choice when adding these modifications.
