NEW TRAILS OPEN IN UTAH NEAR LAKE POWELL IN GLEN CANYON
A portion of Utah which didn’t allow OHV usage in the past is now catering to off-roaders. Glen Canyon and some areas surrounding Lake Powell just above Monument Valley is waiting to be explored, and Ticaboo Lodge/ Lake Powell Adventures is at the center of it. The lodge and marina has jumped into the off-road scene at full throttle. They have UTV rentals and tours, restaurants and hotel lodging or RV spots. This is a perfect base camp to enjoy the new trails.
Even better, the recent decision to open Utah’s five National Parks to street-legal UTVs and ATVs also includes the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. If you can’t attend the Rally at North Lake Powell, this fall and winter will be a perfect time to bring your UTV or rent one from Lake Powell Adventures and explore this new OHV-recreation destination. Lake Powell is beautiful from water level, but haven’t you ever wanted to explore those bluffs and red-rock formations yourselves? Now we can in our UTVs.
