NEW UTV PRODUCTS FROM TUCKER

UTV enthusiasts are always looking to upgrade and accessorize their zooters for a better riding experience. Jamborees are a great place for us to see the latest and greatest from the UTV aftermarket, but COVID-19 has temporarily postponed the jamboree season. UTV Action hit the Tucker dealer show in Fort Worth to see the new UTV products from Tucker. To Australians, “tucker” is food, so here are the top 20 dishes Tucker served up at the cow-town convention center. Enjoy!

 

High Lifter RZR Pro XP high-clearance trailing arms and radius rods: High Lifter unveiled its new Apexx high-clearance products for the new RZR Pro XP at the Texas Tucker show. Apexx trailing arms add 2.5 inches of clearance in front of the rear tires and are constructed of laser-cut carbon steel with a 3/8-inch hub mount to eliminate deformation. Double-shear sway-bar tabs and replaceable factory-installed spherical bearings add strength, and the HL arms have massive gussets and mounting holes for factory brake lines. They are powdercoated black, red or Polaris Blue, or get custom colors. They’re $709.95 a pair with mounting hardware and instructions. HL’s high-clearance Apexx radius rods add 1.75 -inches of clearance and are made with1.5-inch DOM tubes with massive 7/8-inch Heim joints and Teflon-lined spherical bearings with camber and toe adjustability. New UTV products from Tucker also included  High Lifter  Pro XP high-clearance A-arms: High Lifter’s Apexx series for the Polaris RZR Pro XP Turbo Pro and Pro XP 4 include forward A-arms, which are stronger than stock and adjustable, plus they increase ground clearance by 1.75 inches. The Apexx upper and lower control arms are also raked forward to increase wheelbase by 1.5 inches and have heat-treated collars for adjusting camber. Heavy-duty ball-joint brackets eliminate deformation issues, and they also have optimized sway-bar linkage angles. Made of 1.5-inch tubing with .188-inch-wall thickness for increased size and strength, Apexx arms are powdercoated red or black. They come without ball joints installed for $529.95 or with ball joints for $664.95, or get lowers only for $299.95 to $369.95.
HL Pro-FXT high-clearance A-arms: HL adds ground clearance and strength to the Kawasaki Mule Pro-FX/DX line with its kits that maximize clearance while protecting axles. Crafted from 1.25-inch DOM tubing with .188-inch-wall thickness, they’re claimed to be twice as strong as OEM arms. These arms allow up to 31-inch tires, or 33-inch with HL’s lift kit. QuadBoss 5000-pound winch with Dyneema rope was also among the new UTV products from Tucker: QuadBoss ups the recovery ante with the 5,000-pound winch with Dyneema rope. The QB winch has a 3.8-horsepower permanent magnet motor; three-stage planetary gears for fast line speed; low-current draw; automatic load-holding self-locking brake; free-spooling; seals for water resistance; a corded remote and Hawse fair-lead. It has a 1/4-inch safety hook with 50-feet of Dyneema synthetic rope that’s rated to 5000 pounds. It has an MSRP of $388.95, a limited one-year warranty and works with QB model-specific mount kits ($59.95 to $74.95).
QuadBoss utility box, Farm jack, and Farm jack mount: Whether you’re into adventure or hard work, the QB Farm jack is ideal for lifting, spreading and hoisting, with a height of 48 inches and heavy-duty steel construction. It has an adjustable top clevis and a 3000-pound load capacity for $90.99. It’s mounted to the Pro-FXT with a Jack mount ($68.99) and Jack handle keeper ($15.99). Increase versatility with the Off-Road base ($31.99) and Jack lift straps ($31.99). Add bed capacity with the QB utility box, which is constructed of aluminum diamond plate to take beatings and a self-opening lid-lift system. Stainless-steel paddle-lock handles add security and corrosion resistance. They’re model-specific, with pre-drilled mounting holes and matte black powdercoat for $399.99.
QuadBoss Journey RZR 1000 S and Turbo S cargo boxes: QB is also coming out with Journey cargo boxes for RZRs, including the 1000 S and Turbo S. The cargo boxes have lockable latches and a gasket seal to keep contents dry. While Expedition boxes have an aluminum rod to affix bulky items on top, Journeys have side recesses with eyelets for mounting small coolers or bags. Capacities and prices are to be determined.
QuadBoss 454 UTV tires: QB unveiled a new radial utility tire in Texas. The new 454 is designed for a smooth and consistent ride with optimal traction in loose-to-hard terrain. Non-directional tread is Bighorn-like with deeply siped side lugs. Available for 12- and 14-inch wheels, 454s come in sizes 25x8R12, 25x10R12, 26x9R12, 26x11R12, 27x9R12, 29x9R14, 29x11R14 and 30x10R14, with MSRPs from $102.99 to $173.99. New UTV products from Tucker also included System 3 XTR370 tires: System 3 unleashes its XT370 X-Terrain Radial with 8-Ply construction and advanced sidewall from the XCR350 tire. Aggressive, multi-angle tread blocks are up to an inch tall with 3/4-inch side lugs for extra traction. Super-deep rim guards protect your rims and reduce pinch-flats. XTR370s come in 27x10R14, 28x10R14, 30x10R14, 30x10R15, 32x10R14, and 32x10R15, with plans for 33x10R15 and 35×9.5R20 coming soon. MSRPs are $185 to $229 each. System 3 ST-5 wheel: System 3 introduced new tires and wheels in Texas, including the new ST-5 wheel with 11-spoke rally styling, 1200-pound load rating, heavy-duty wheel lips, and a factory-installed valve stem and center cap. They come in bronze/black and matte black 14×7 4+3 and 15×7 5+2 sizes and offsets. MSRPs are $113–$129. See your System 3 dealer or www.system3offroad.com.
DragonFire Racing folding 1/2 windshield: DFR had a General on display with a prototype folding half windshield that stays up or down with rubber security straps that attach to the mounting points on the cage. Price is TBA. DFR has harness mount kits for General and General 4 owners that want extra security. Kits mount to the Pro-Fit cage tubes for $21.99 to $74.99. DFR is also developing General cargo racks, rock sliders, bumpers and tire carriers.
DFR Slayer side mirrors: DFR has new Slayer side mirrors that are fully adjustable and foldable for any round roll cage that is 1.75 to 2.0 inches (or Pro-Fit tubes). A low-profile clamp design minimizes interference with windshield and door kits. Slayers are $139.99 for round cages and $159.99 for Pro-Fit cages, and replacement mirrors and badges are $24.99. Modquad billet hex radius rods and tie-rods: Modquad has been hopping-up UTVs since the Rhino, and they now have billet-aluminum hex radius rods and tie-rods for popular sport UTVs, including the Talon. Radius rods are 1.25-inch 7075 aluminum with 3/4-inch rod ends and misalignment spacers. They are adjustable for toe and camber, and rods are CNC’d again after anodizing for added style. Talon radius rods are $479.95. Talon tie-rods are 1.125-inch 7075 hex and use the OEM rod ends for $139.95, and matching Talon rear sway-bar links are $179.95. EPI Polaris complete U-joints and yokes: EPI Performance, the clutch guys, also upgrade the rest of our UTV drivetrains, and the drive-shaft U-joints and yokes for Polaris UTVs are new. Beef up your drivetrain with the new complete U-joints for $99.99 or go with new yokes for $74.99.
EPI Pro Series RZR rollers: While EPI’s Venom Torlon rollers upgrade secondary clutch performance for $19.99 each, EPI goes further with the new Pro Series roller with a smoother, more durable roller. Pro Series rollers are $44.99 a pair for RZRs, X3s and Defenders.

Duro D12039 Power Grip V2 tire: Duro has a new version of the Power Grip. The D12038 6-ply tire is original equipment on the Mule Pro-FXR, and it comes in 27×9-12,27×11-12, 28x9R14, 28x11R14, 29x9R14 and 29x11R14 sizes. New, the D12039 V2 has a more rounded shape with rock deflectors between lugs and rim guards. Radial construction improves load capacity, and the Power Grip V2 is original on the Arctic Cat Havoc and Wildcat X. It comes in 27x9R14, 27x11R14, 29x9R14, 29x11R14 and 30x10R14; 27s are 6-ply, but larger V2s are 8-ply. MSRPs are $141.04–$205.64, but Chaparral has them for $101.88–$146.88.
Warn Epic Hawse fairlead and plate: Warn winch had a variety of new products, including the Epic Hawse fairlead, which is an aluminum fairlead designed to prevent fraying of synthetic rope. The Gunmetal Epic fairlead for the VRX-45 and Axon 45-S and 55-S is $47.05, while the short Epic for the VRX 25 and 35 ProVantage 2500 and 3500 is $51.39.
Warn Epic Trail Gear storage bags: Warn also has a line of new Epic Trail Gear storage bags, including a small cage bag ($32.99), roll bar triangle bag ($41.99) and passenger grab-bar bag ($51.99), plus larger bed bags. Seizmik Halo-RA LED rear-view mirror: Seizmik upgrades its Halo-R mirror line with the new Halo-RA LED rear-view mirror with multi-moldal, RGB-colored LEDs for style and LED map light. RGBs are high-/low-intensity LEDs with selectable red, green and blue colors. Construction is powdercoated aluminum with 304 stainless steel hardware, and the map LED has 30- and 120-umen settings.
