PHIL BLURTON AND CAN-AM WIN BITD SILVER STATE 300 PRO TURBOS

JD MARSH AND POLARIS TOP PRO NA 1000S AT THE SILVER STATE 300

Phil Blurton and Beau Judge finished 13th overall at the Best in the Desert Silver State 300 to win the Pro Turbo UTV class by 2.3 minutes over Ryan Piplic. Of the four-wheeled group, Blurton was only beaten by 9 Trick Trucks and 3 Class 6100 Buggies in the 278-mile desert race, and the No Limit RD Can-Am team averaged 53.633 mph. Branden Sims was another minute behind Piplic for a Can-Am Polaris Polaris Pro Turbo podium. Mitch Guthrie, Junior was a close fourth, finishing a minute behind Sims.

JD Marsh and Cole Keatts topped the Pro NA 1000 UTVs for Polaris; the team finished 42nd overall and topped Kaden Wells by over 4.5 minutes and Austin Bolton by 10.6 minutes for an all-Polaris podium. Of the 188 teams to enter, there were 88 UTV finishers. Chris Blais and Jeremy Gray topped the UTV Unlimited class and were 34th overall, finishing just 15 seconds ahead of Randy Raschein. Travis Zollinger was third for an all-Can-Am podium.

JD Walsh won the Pro NA 1000 UTVs over champ Kaden Wells at the SS300.

Bill Baker won the UTV Rally class ahead of Jack Olliges and Cameron Rohn for an all-X3 podium. Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone was 7th in UTV Rally. Darren Dryer won the UTV Sportsman class ahead of Davis Payne and Craig Macintosh for an all-Polaris podium. Jonathan McVay topped Katie Verona in the RS1 class, and Rylin and Steve Fuller won the Pure Stock UTVs for Kawasaki.

Chris Blais has been on a winning streak in BiTD and DP4 desert racing; he was 34rd overall and won the Unlimited UTVs.
