— Testing a smart product —
Here is a wheel bearing greaser tool developed by Machined Integrations that allows you to easily add grease to wheel bearings. The product is basically the same size as the center part of your wheel hub where the axle rides, minus the splines. There is a groove spot flanked by O-rings that guides grease into your wheel bearings through the center.
Each greaser is precisely machined from a chunk of hard-anodized aluminum.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
The product slips inside your vehicle’s wheel bearing and over the axle in some cases. It helps direct grease into the small slit that is in the center of your stock and some aftermarket bearings. Without this tool, this style of bearing cannot be properly repacked by hand.
WHAT DOES IT FIT?
Greasers are available for Polaris RZRs, Aces and Rangers; Can-Am Maverick X3s, Defenders and standard Mavericks; Kawasaki Mules and Teryxs; CFMotos; Kymco; Textron Wildcat XXs; Honda Pioneer 1000s; Yamaha YXZ1000Rs and most John Deere Gators. More applications are added frequently.
HOW DOES IT PERFORM?
Perfectly. All we had to do was remove the brake caliper and the hub to slide the greaser into the wheel bearing. The axle moves out of the way slightly and doesn’t have to be removed. We then added about 25 pumps of Lucas Oil marine-grade waterproof grease into each bearing. The whole job on our RZR XP-T (all four corners) took under an hour.
If you’ve ever packed a wheel bearing by hand, you will really appreciate how easy the Machine Integrations wheel bearing greaser makes it. And, most UTVs’ sealed bearings are impossible to pack by hand correctly. There is literally no reason not to own a Machined Integrations wheel bearing greaser.
