Segway/RideNow Donate To A Great Cause In Texas

The act of giving back during the holidays fosters a sense of unity and compassion within communities. Segway Powersports has partnered with RideNow and Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas to donate two UT10 Crews to the city of McKinney to be utilized by the McKinney Fire Department and McKinney Police Department.

Throughout the year, emergencies occur such as, wildfires, floods, or remote rescue operations, in challenging terrains or areas with limited accessibility. In such instances, a UTV becomes a crucial asset for the department.

Dave Swavey, executive director of Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas, stated, ”The ability to transport personnel and equipment to remote areas can be a determining factor in the success of emergency response efforts. In such situations, the need for local departments to have access to a UTV becomes paramount. We are truly honored to partner with Segway Powersports and RideNow, who willingly step up to the plate, keeping the holiday spirit alive, and enable us to equip these departments with these resources.

Gabriel Cruz, Marketing Director for Segway Powersports, expresses his enthusiasm, “In the spirit of the season, it is truly gratifying for Segway Powersports to join forces with RideNow and Guns & Hoses. Together, we are ensuring these departments have the tools they need to enhance public safety and respond effectively to emergencies. It’s a joyous occasion to contribute to the well-being of our communities, embodying the true spirit of giving during the holidays.”

“On behalf of RumbleOn and Ridenow Powersports we are proud to support our first responders who put their lives on the line every day. These individuals are not just heroes; they are our neighbors, family, and friends. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to them, and I would like to personally express gratitude to Segway Powersports and Guns & Hoses Foundation for their invaluable assistance in making this donation possible,” said Nick Haider, regional operations director for RideNow.
