STRONGER CAGE FOR RS1

— Lone Star Racing improves the single-seater Polaris —

The Polaris RS1 feels like a race car when you’re out carving up the dirt. Its 1000cc twin cylinder engine puts plenty of power to the ground and it whips around turns easily with its lighter weight. The RS1 just naturally makes a good base for a machine you want to take to the race track. That’s what the guys at Lone Star Racing were thinking when they turned their attention to this fast single-seater from Polaris. The first thing on their list was to build a stronger roll cage. Not that the RS1’s cage is weak, but you can never have too much strength when you’re likely to be doing some tumbles from time to time.

So, for their cage LSR went with stronger 4130 chromoly steel tubing.  They also wanted it to give the RS1 a sleeker look so their cage does’t come up as high as the stock cage, giving it a lower profile. LSR offers an upgrade for light mounts at top and number plate mounts in rear.

The price is $1,200. More info > http://lsracing.com/rs1-bolt-on-roll-cage-with-roof.1567.181.atv-utv-racing
