SUPERATV SAND CAT DT DUNE TIRES
SUPERATV SAND CAT DT DUNE TIRES
SuperATV unleashes its new Sand Cat DT dune tires in 30×11-14 and 32×11-15 sizes. Sand Cat P12 rears have 12 paddles that are 3/4 inches tall, and the 30×11-14 two-ply tire weighs 15-percent less than its competition. The 32×11-15 rear has 13 paddles, and both have added traction dimples in a chevron pattern for added bite and side grip. Front Sand Cats give you flotation and true 4WD control via two center ridges of 9/16-inch-tall shark fins in an alternating pattern for less weight. Chevron dimples add to traction and steering, and the 2-ply tire also comes in 30- and 32-inch sizes. MSRPs are $204.95–$219.95 front and $299.95–$259.95 rear. SHOCK THERAPY ULTIMATE TIE-ROD KIT
Shock Therapy’s Ultimate end-to-end tie-rod kit combines ST’s bump-steer delete tie-rod pins, precision-machined 7075 billet-aluminum and hard-anodized tie-rods, chromoly 5/8-inch Teflon-lined rod ends, and proprietary heavy-duty inner joints made of 4340 high-carbon steel. By adjusting height of the outer tie-rod ends with BSD pins, ST eliminates bump-steer, which makes the UTV easier to drive with less effort and reduces wear of steering components. Stronger and 20-percent-larger inner joints eliminate a factory weak spot on all factory rack-and-pinion steering units. ST’s Ultimate end-to-end tie-rod kits are compatible with Polaris RZR XP 1000, RS1, XP Turbo, Turbo S, Pro XP, XP 900, and General XP models, plus Kawasaki KRXs for $299.95. EMP REAR HITCH/TOW HOOK FOR SPORT UTVs
Very few sport UTVs have a tow hitch, but situations often crop up where sport machines need a solid tow point. EMP has hitch/tow hooks for most popular sport machines, including the Kawasaki KRX 1000. These American-made hitch receivers are laser cut and CNC formed for a precise fit and accept standard 2-inch hitches. They bolt to the frame in four places for strength. The black powdercoat finish is very durable and matches the frame. It’s $114.99, and you can get them from https://extrememetalproduct.com/.
ASSAULT RZR ADVENTURE RACK
Formerly Assault’s spare-tire rack, the new Assault Adventure rack has been completely redesigned. Now much wider with dimpled and slotted utility plates for grip and tie-down points, the main platform holds larger tires and allows storage underneath. There are three mounting options for shorter gas-charged EZ Lift shocks, and latch brackets mount directly to the rear cage bolts for more bed clearance. The three-point Y-harness holds up to a 32-inch tire, and the Adventure rack is 1018 high-grade steel with semi-gloss powdercoat. It’s designed to work with Rubbermaid’s Rubberized ActionPacker lockable 8-gallon storage box (#1170). More rear vision and easier raising and lowering of the tire are improvements to the Adventure rack for the RZR XP1K, XP Turbo/S, and Pro XP. MSRP is $499.99. TUSK MEGABITE UTV TIRES
Rocky Mountain ATV/MC introduces the Tusk Megabite UTV tire in 30–34-inch sizes. Based on the Tusk Terrabite, the Megabite has 8-ply radial construction with bigger dual-row center lugs and side lugs that extend all the way to the bead in an X-pattern for extra traction. Tusk claims high load ratings and excellent off-road performance. Whereas the Terrabite is a medium/hard-terrain tire, the Megabite’s more open tread pattern will make it more versatile and better in softer conditions. MSRPs will be $160–$210. KLIM WOMEN’S ARTEMIS ADVENTURE GEAR
Klim just released the redesigned Artemis jacket and pants, upgrading their line of premium women’s adventure apparel. The Idaho-based company is proud to improve abrasion protection, comfort, ventilation and storage for female riders. Starting with abrasion protection, Klim improves safety with new Superfabric overlays in key impact areas. This is a massive improvement in abrasion protection, previously only seen on the Badlands Pro and Adventure Rally gear. New 630-denier Cordura twisted yarn overlays also deliver better abrasion resistance than the previous version. New fabric layouts greatly improve mobility and comfort together with increased abrasion protection through a specially “mapped” fabric layout. Storage options throughout have been vastly improved, with a monstrous total of 12 pockets between the exterior and interior of both garments. A new addition is an internal organizer pouch in the right-hand jacket pocket and left-hand pants pocket. This is an intuitive way to keep items organized within a pocket. Another addition is a MOLLE webbing panel on both the jacket and pants for attaching small items to the exterior. Impact protection comes from D3O Level 1 vented armor throughout the shoulders, elbows, knees, hips and back. Forearm vents bring air into the arms, while more efficient chest and back vents add more airflow to the torso. Klim’s popular cross-core chest vents are still in play. The jacket is $749.99. Pants are $569.99–$589.99 Visit www.klim.com for more information.
