NEW $30 FEE TO RIDE IN UTAH IF YOU’RE FROM ANOTHER STATE

Beginning January 1, 2020, Utah will no longer have reciprocity with any of the other 49 states and have to pay a yearly $30 fee.  Owners of ATVs, off-highway motorcycles or snowmobiles, brought into Utah by non-residents, must obtain a non-resident permit for their machine. NEW TRAILS OPEN NEAR LAKE POWELL IN GLEN CANYON UTAH

 A potion of Utah which didn’t allow OHV usage in the past is now catering to off roaders. Glen Canyon and some areas surrounding Lake Powell, just above Monument Valley is just waiting to be explored and Ticaboo Lodge/ Lake Powell Adventures is at the center of it. Destination: American Fork Canyon

Utah is one of the most popular places to off road in the US. With so much to offer, it can be hard to decide where to ride. There is desert, rock crawling, and even dunes. Recently we had the opportunity to ride in American Fork canyon which is part of Utah’s Uinta National Forest. AF canyon is located just 7.7 miles off the I-15 exit 284. There is a reasonable entry fee of $6 for 1-3 days, $12 for 7 days, or $45 for an annual pass. These fees ensure that the area and facilities are well maintained. …
