CODY BRADBURY’S #1X WORCS RS1

Cody Bradbury won the World Off-Road Championship Series 2018 Pro Stock UTV Championship in a RZR XP 1000 and switched to the RZR RS1 for his title defense this season. The season didn’t start well for Cody with a 15th at Buffalo Bill’s, but then he rebounded with a pair of seconds at the next two rounds. Nevada again struck the Pro Stock champ with another 15th at the Orleans Casino, but he again rallied back with a pair of wins and a fourth. He sits third in Pro Stock points with one round to go, four behind Beau Baron and…

Jacob Peter Kicks off Round 1 of WORCS for 2020

January 18th-19th Round 1 of WORCS in Primm NV. My dad and I woke up early Friday morning and headed out to the first WORCS race of the year. I was excited because we don’t usually make it in time to practice. I was able to practice on my 250 quad which gives me perfect views for my car races. Saturday morning I was up bright and early to do one more site lap before my first race of the weekend. I moved up a class in ATV racing this year to a 250 quad from a 90. I had never ridden this quad before this weekend, I have…

GLEN HELEN WORCS WARFARE

-- UTV racing update -- Round six of the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) was hosted by Glen Helen Raceway in Southern California. The course was fast and rough with lots of jumps. Using much of the Glen Helen Motocross National track and REM/Vet MX track, the WORCS course also used much of the Lucas Oil Off-Road short-course, dirt parking lots, and a sand-wash woods section. Add the brutal heat, and the Glen Helen WORCS round waged a war of attrition on the UTV and ATV racers. This was the first UTV round since…

WORLD OFF-ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

-- Hot UTV racing hits Arizona -- Round three of the UTV/ATV World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) schedule was held at Canyon MX in Peoria, Arizona, and Corbin Leaverton (Pol) and Matt Hancock (Pol) were big Pro-class winners. The Canyon MX round drew more than 149 UTV entries, and the course was gnarly, with plenty of rocks and cacti to punish those that overcooked turns. The Canyon MX course provided plenty of tabletop jumps, and most of the course was laid out on a large plateau adjacent to Peoria Airport, but it…

Casey Sims Puts His RS1 on the Box

I love racing at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, NV!  It’s one of my most favorite races of the year!  My team and I headed out on Saturday morning and made it to Vegas just after noon.  We set up our pit in the arena parking lot and unloaded.  My car went through tech and then we headed to the driver’s meeting.  At the driver’s meeting, they confirmed that my class would be split into two races, and then the times would be combined to get the overall results of the race.  The track is too small and cannot handle all of the…

Casey Sims Goes for a Wild Ride at WORCS Round 3

I  went for a wild ride at WORCS round 3.  My team and I headed out on the 7 hour journey to Peoria, AZ on Saturday morning.  We made it to Canyon Motocross just in time to get my car through tech, and we made sure we had everything ready to go for my race the next day.  I was able to watch the pro race on Saturday afternoon and get a feel for the track.  I felt ready to go for Sunday’s race. On Sunday, we got to the track early, fueled my car, and checked the tire pressure.  After a final once over on my car, it was time…
