— Kyle Chaney races in the GNCC XC1 UTV Pro class and here is his Can-Am Factory Race Team Maverick 1000R. These cross-country races take place on the trails of deep woods in the eastern part of the country. The UTVs are set up a little different from the wide open desert races of the west. Instead of dealing with high speed whoop sections, GNCC UTVs are built to handle a wide variety of technical terrain that includes mud, ruts, roots, rocks and steep hills.

Chaney’s Maverick 1000R has CT Works high-clearance A-arms, Summers Brothers axles, Fox Shocks, Worx Series tie-rods, Torq Locker front diff, Factory UTV skid plates, Addict Racing CVT, DP brakes, Ballistic batteries, DWT beadlock wheels, Maxxis Bighorn tires, Beard seats, nerf bars, race cage and rear radiator relocation kit. Kyle wears a Bell helmet with Scott goggles and his Maverick uses BRP XPS lubricants.

Kyle and his Maverick finished in 3rd place for the 2017 GNCC XC1 UTV Pro series. Look for more information on Chaney’s machine and other GNCC UTV racers in the next issue of UTV Action magazine.
