UTV OFFROAD ADVENTURES ANNOUNCES ELEVEN 2022 FESTIVALS
END UOA’S 2021 SEASON AT LAKE POWELL UTV FEST OCTOBER 8TH-10TH
The Grand Canyon State, Arizona, has unique and beautiful scenery with high-country pine forests in the north and several species of cacti and awesome scenic vistas at lower southern elevations. It is also said to have more mountains than any of the other 49 states. Arizona also has a huge population of off-roaders, some of whom recently completed the La Paz, or Arizona Peace Trail. Tens of thousands of “snow birds” winter in the Arizona desert, as it’s the perfect place to explore in colder months. Locals then head north in summer to continue OHV recreation into hotter months.

In its second year, UTV Offroad Adventures announces a series of nine 2022 UTV Festivals, a Fun Run and a Jamboree across Arizona, and the first one will be held on January 7th-9th at Amado, south of Tucson, in the Coronado National Forest near Mount Wrightson. There will be nine UTV Fests, the White Mountain Jamboree in August at Eager (elevation 7,080!), and the Fire in the Sky Fun Run at Heber in September. Additionally, only three of the 2021 locations are repeated for 2022 – White Mountain, Fire in the Sky and Lake Powell – so the other eight are at new locations and will introduce participants to new areas, trails and scenery.

UTV Action Mag attended the Camp Bouse UTV Fest, and it was a lot of fun with a Friday night ride, a high-speed 75-mile ride to Tank Pass and Bill Williams River, and a low-speed mountain and sand wash ride to Brenda and back. There were also Poker run stops on the rides, a corn hole tournament, BBQ dinner, and product raffle. The two guided rides on Saturday and Sunday showed off the local trails and awesome scenery with red-rock canyons, volcanic mountains, historic stops at mines and camps, and great vistas. We also attended the Peppersauce UTV Fun Run at San Manual, rode up the north side of Mount Lemmon and explored a cave.

UTV Off-road Adventures is ending its 2021 schedule next weekend, October 8th-10th at Lake Powell, which they say is the area with the most amazing trails in Arizona. They’ll have two days of guided rides plus a Friday night ride on awesome scenic trails, some in canyons, and one destination will be Glen Canyon Dam. The host hotel for the weekend is the Baymont by Wyndham Page Lake Powell, 677 Scenic View Road, Page, AZ 86040; (928)645-5050. Special rates are $129 per night for two queen beds, so book using code: UOA FEST.
