WELLER WINS FIFTH STRAIGHT LUCAS OIL ARIZONA UTV #1

ON THE PODIUM: LORORS ARIZONA ROUND 5

Corry Weller clinched her second straight Lucas Oil Regional Off-Road Series Arizona Production Turbo UTV championship in her Weller Racing Can-Am X3, and she adds those Turbo titles to three straight Weller SR1 UTV championships. Dan Kelly (C-A) won the fifth and final round ahead of Chance Haugen (Pol) and Robert VanBeekum (Pol), with Weller sixth. She won three of five rounds on her way to the championship.

Weller has won both the LOORRS and LORORS Arizona Pro Turbo championships for the last two years.

In Production 1000 UTVs, Lance Root led an all-Yamaha sweep of the podium ahead of Will Munns and Dallas Nord. Munns lept ahead of Nord in series points to take the Production 1000 championship and collect the bLUe cREw $5,000 check from Yamaha. The final round podium also represented the five wins in the class with Root and Nord scoring two wins apiece, while Munns had a more consistent 3-1-2-9-2 season with 2-4-1-3-1 qualifying sessions.

Dallas Nord led the LORORS Arizona Production 1000s into the final round after two wins, but Will Munns was top qualifier and second in the final round to clinch the title by one point.
