Each year has a new and unique opening day festivities; last year’s was held at the childhood home of famed outlaw Butch Cassidy, and 2017 featured a pig-roast luau at the Piute Reservoir State Park, complete with native dancers. On August 7th, the 2019 Paiute Trail Jamboree will open at Freemont Indian State Park, which is opening its museum free of charge to participants. There will be native and pioneer historic sites, petroglyph tour, atlatl throw (an arrow slung like Lacrosse), kid’s zone and more. There will be a catered dinner and great prizes, so bring your own chair.

The UTV Jam parade will have a western theme this year, so bring your boots, hats and lariats!

All this is free to jamboree attendees; the only things that aren’t free are daily breakfasts and dinners by Big Daddy’s Deli, Jamboree T-shirts and jerseys, and raffle tickets for the two raffles with swag donated by vendors and jamboree sponsors.

There will be an Obstacle Course race for UTVs and ATVs plus a Blind Man’s Obstacle Course, where the driver is blindfolded and the passenger navigates.
