GUIDED DAILY RIDES

Many rides include Forest Service and BLM roads with awesome views.

There are 14 daily ride choices ranging in skill levels from beginner to advanced, and six rides are for 50-inch UTVs and ATVs only. One is for 60-inch wide OHVs, and the rest are open to all widths. Nine rides leave the jamboree headquarters to trailheads, while five require trailering to the trailhead. The most UTV-friendly rides are: the Desert Ride to the Clear lake Bird Refuge, Lace Curtains and Lava Tubes; the Fillmore Loop to Sand Rock Ridge (altitude 10,000 feet); the Devil’s Arm Chair ride in the Pahvant Mountains; Gooseberry North; the Sevier County Sponsored Lunch Run to Richfield on the Paiute Trail System; the Robins Valley/Coffee Peak ride in the Pahvents; the Friday-only Poker Run sponsored by Coca-Cola.

While most guided rides are on wide trails, six are for 50-inch wide machines only.

The Kanosh Ride is for 60-inch UTVs or smaller with plenty of oak/pine forest and stream crossings, while the rest are 50-inch rides on technical trails with beautiful scenery on USFS and BLM lands. The Tri-Canyon Ride winds through steep terrain through Pine Creek, Dry Creek and Mountain Sheep Canyons with plenty of stream crossings. The Gooseberry South ride is 60 miles with 90-percent being ATV trails near Salina, and the Old Mine Tour ride, which starts at Fremont Indian State Park, winds through the Tushar Mountains to the Silver King Mine, Kimberly Mine, Bullion City and more, and then on to Delano Peak (12,173 feet). Two of the more advanced 50-inch rides are White Sage and Teeples Canyon.
