WHERE TO RIDE & RACE YOUR UTV: TEXPLEX FALL NATIONAL UTV RACE SERIES
HOUR-LONG UTV WARM-UPS FOR THE DECEMBER 5TH ENDURANCE RACE
Texplex Park wrapped up its $110,000 2020 Texas UTV Race Series last weekend, and it recently held the first round of its five-race Fall National UTV Race Series. Saturday, August 29th, will be the second round of the fall series, and the Texplex Long UTV Course will be used for a one-hour night race. Round three will be another one-hour cross-country night race on the Long Course on September 26th.
On October 10th, Texplex will hold a Round Four Short-Course day race with a Heat and Feature for each class. The Round Five final will be on November 7th, and the racers will return to the Texplex Long UTV Course for a one-hour day race. Texplex has 1,000 acres of land and 14 miles of trails, with tight woods sections snaking along creek beds and between trees plus wider passing zones. The Short-Course starting area will likely serve as the start line for Long Course races, then racers drop onto the long course after a few turns. Texplexwill also change up the track for each round.
The Fall National Series is a non-points series with each round getting a guaranteed cash payout, and the many sponsors will likely donate products as they did for the Texas UTV Race Series. Also, this series will be a warm-up for the 12-Hour Endurance UTV race on December 5th. The 12-Hour will have a guaranteed $50,000 cash payout. The Endurance race will have different options for different classes – 3, 6, or 12 hours. Check out www.texplexpark.com for details to come and online registration.
