WORLD OFF-ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES UTV FINALS

MILLER BROTHERS TIE IN 2019 WORCS TURBO PRO POINTS

Buffalo Bill’s Casino hosted the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) UTV World Finals with two rounds (8&9) of racing at Primm, Nevada. Round 8 was a day of major upsets with Lucas Oil regular Myles Cheek and the Anderson Brothers invading the Pro Stock and Pro Turbo fields. Cheek topped the Pro 1000s over Ronnie Anderson and Davi Haagsma, and Polaris RZRs took the top seven spots. Points leader Corbin Leaverton was fourth but returned the next round with a vengeance to take the win ahead of Haagsma and Cheek. With that win, Leaverton finished off a dominating season, besting Beau Baron by 43 points and four wins. Matt Hancock gave Polaris an all-RS1 points podium.

Myles Cheek finished third in LOORRS 2019 Production 1000s, and then he showed he’s a player in desert short-course racing with a Pro Stock 1000 win at the WORCS World Finals.

In Pro Turbos UTVs, Ronnie Anderson topped Round 8 with Hunter Miller and Beau Judge representing Can-Am on the podium. Points leader Cody Miller had a horrible day in 13th. Hunter then took the Round 9 win ahead of RJ Anderson and brother Cody, giving the Miller Brothers 163 points each after nine rounds of Turbo racing! Cody took the tie-breaker with two wins to Hunter’s big win in Primm.  With great 3-5 showings at Buffalo Bill’s, Beau Judge jumped from fifth in series points to third for an all-Can-Am points podium.

After nine rounds of WORCS Turbo Pro racing, Hunter and Cody Miller ended up tied with 163 points, and Cody (right) took the championship with two wins to Hunter’s single victory in the final round.
