WORLD’S FIRST HOLLOW UTV AXLE

GSP Axles, out of Spartanburg South Carolina has just dropped an exciting new product that will certainly build the brand in the High Performance UTV world; the first Hollow UTV Axle. GSP has been building race and OEM automobile axles for years including over 200 part numbers for the ATV/ UTV market.

The company has been producing axles since 2004. Currently, they produce 300,000 axles per year and they are coming to the table, with their own unique axle that has never been used before on a UTV; the hollow tube “Revolution” axle.

 

Sure hollow or gun drilled axles have been used in small displacement 1600cc buggies  and Trophy Trucks for years, but these are different. The GSP axle shaft is primarily a piece of stronger yet lighter tubing with the axle ends welded into each side.

The philosophy of this type of axle is to get the tube to take the brunt of the shock load then twist and return instead of snapping. They are noticeably lighter resulting in less rotating mass. We will be torture testing a set of the Revolution Axles very soon.
