CAN-AM SMART SHOX PROBLEMS

Dear Sarge,

I am the unlucky owner of a 2021 Can-Am X3 with Smart Shox that has a perpetual shock fault code. As you know, this puts the machine in full stiff mode. The dealer has no clue how to fix this and has told me to keep waiting for a software update. The software update finally arrived but it failed to fix my full stiff damping with the re-flash. Well Sarge, I am tired of waiting for this mythical software update to work! If it helps, the fault code is C240D.

When did people start living in Jean? I’ll bet you’re living in the Terrible’s Road House! Laugh Boot! Seriously your Motor Pool should be aware that sometimes a re-flash does not cure the Can-Am Smart Shox problems. They should recalibrate the system because a large number of 21’s escaped the factory with the wrong shock calibration and then re-flash the system to get the shock fix to take. You might have to educate your Motor Pool on Service Bulletin SAS Recalibration 2021-4. You must have buns of steel if you have been riding your Zooter this long with full stiff damping! Laugh again Boot! Your Motor Pool needs to do your PT! Dismissed!
